A complete copy, with useful footnotes, at the beginning of which is the following: a possession record in the name of Ali al-Abdullah al-Abd al-Rahman al-Bassam, which is bare in the library of Unayzah, and a text by Abu Ya`la al-Hanbali on the reason for his choosing the doctrine of Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal. The manuscript in our hands is a famous book on Hanbali jurisprudence, in which the author combined al-Muqni’ by Ibn Qudamah and the thorough revision to edit Ahkam al-Muqni’ by al-Mardawi, the author of al-Insaaf.
