The title, paragraph headers, and some words, such as his saying, are written in red ink. The last mention of his writing occurred in the year 803 AH. The footnotes are written in several ways: they are slanted upward, downward, upside down, and so on. The beginning of the manuscript: We thank you, O God, for the minute meanings you have guided us to with Badi’ al-Bayan and the truths of the Mathani with the pretexts of proof. And after that, what has been on my chest and in my mind for a long time has been to arrange for the third part of the Miftah al-Ulum || an explanation that will overcome its difficulties and simplify its narcotics. It will reveal the results of thoughts and clarify the treasures of secrets. His skin is braided with parallel lines, and on it are sunken the traces of his earth. And wetness and moisture on it, a few corrections on it, many explanations and comments at the end of the manuscript: This is the last thing that God Almighty has facilitated, through His grace and kindness, in revealing the benefits of this knowledge and organizing its insights. We ask God Almighty, through His grace and kindness, to reveal the benefits of this science and organizing its insights, and we ask God Almighty to benefit from it || those who are guided and to make it a treasure for us on the Day of Judgment..
