The first part of a precious copy, which was affected by the ground and corroded, so someone came to restore it and completed what had fallen from it. On its first leaf was an important endowment that could hardly be read. It can be learned from it that Sheikh Ahmed Ibn Abi Humaydan had left three books that he had previously left in Damascus, namely this copy of Al-Insaf, two books of Sharh Al-Zarkashi based on the summary of Al-Kharqi, and a piece of Al-Furoo’ written by the Hanbalis in Damascus, and Safi Al-Din bin Suleiman Al-Najdi bore witness to this, and this copy belongs to the Prophet. The important endowment dates back to the tenth century, and this is not the place to discuss it. In its margins there are explanations and corrections. Black ink was used in writing and what was intended to be distinguished in red.
