Notes
A well-known summary of Hanbali jurisprudence, in which the author did not mention anything other than what the scholars of authentication have confirmed to be authentic, and based on a fatwa among the scholars of authenticity, as mentioned in the introduction, a complete copy, the beginning and end of which are the following:
1/ Stamp of the Unayzah National Library in Qassim dated 1358 AH.
2/ Index of topics.
3/ Poetic verses on etiquette and sermons, including two poetic verses on the morals of the seeker of knowledge. The first of them is: O seeker of knowledge, practice piety, abandon sleep, and abandon satiety. And do not forget the lesson, for knowledge of the lesson has risen and risen.
4/ Endowment entry written by a copyist on the same date.
5/ A review of the book by Yahya bin Musa Al-Jahafi.
6/ A poem containing 12 lines in which there is praise for the book and praise for its author, composed by Abu Al-Mawahib Al-Bakri Al-Siddiqi.
7/ A poem containing 14 lines in which there is a tribute to the book and praise of its author, composed by Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman bin Ali Al-Danushari, who died in 1025 AH.
8/ A reference to a report omitted from the copy by Ahmad bin Amin al-Din al-Hanafi.
