Notes
External size: 21.5 x 15 cm. The edition is two parts in one volume. The last one is amputated. Its pages are bound in a red double border. I wrote the main headings and paragraph headings in red ink. On the cover page is an inscription of an endowment in Trabzon, Turkey, in the year 1253 AH. The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and the outcome is for the righteous... Chapter on the first migration to Abyssinia and the reason for the return of those who emigrated to Mecca and the conversion of Omar ibn Al-Khattab, may God Almighty be pleased with him, when the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saw the continued harm that befell the Muslims from the infidels of Quraysh despite his inability to save them... His humidity and earth affected the text slightly, with some corrections. It was replaced by the original, tabulated in red, double tabulated at the end of the manuscript: ...and it came to pass that the Jewish rabbis, including Ibn Suriya, that is, before he greeted the above, Shas bin Qais, and Ka’b bin Usayd, met and said, “We will send to Muhammad, perhaps we will confuse him regarding his religion.” So he went to the Messenger of God and mentioned to him Glass’s statement, so he sent the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.
