Notes A piece of an old, precious copy, corresponding to the original and another copy. It was in the library of Ahmed Khairy, may God have mercy on him, and it has his clear, elegant handwriting. This piece corresponds to pages 55-79 of the 1966 edition of the Egyptian House for Authoring, Translation and Publishing. It has two omissions, the first of which is after folio 8, which corresponds to pages: 62-63, and the second: after folio 9, which corresponds to pages 63-70 of the publication. He wrote The text is in clear, beautifully shaped paper naskh script, especially the verses of poetry. The proper names are written in clear, precise thuluth script in viscous black ink. The copyist used red ink to draw heart-shaped circles at the end of the biographies, with black dots in them to indicate the correspondence. Some of these hearts were surrounded by oval-shaped circles colored with black ink, on a Baghdadi-made mug that shows traces of primitive water lines interspersed with it. It is made of cotton and flax plant fibres.
