Notes	A good old copy. It may have been in two or more parts. Perhaps the compiler mentioned in the first part the biography of the Prophet and the succession of the three Rightly Guided Caliphs. He began here with the caliphate of Ali bin Abi Talib, the battle of Siffin, the Camel and his death, and mentioned his sons and daughters and the succession of Al-Hassan bin Ali. He went on to mention Al-Hussein and the events that happened to him and the succession of Muawiyah bin Yazid, and after that he followed the Umayyad caliphs one by one and ended with a mention of Al-Hajjaj bin Yusuf Al-Thaqafi and his biography. Perhaps he continued in the third part by mentioning the Abbasids, and there is nothing in the copy that supports this. The text was written in dark, viscous black ink in general, and the copyist used red ink to write paragraph headings, chapter headings, warning lines, dividers between sentences, and so on, on a Levantine Arabic scribe of Levantine-made, slightly brown in color, satin, devoid of any marks or lines, within a single frame colored with red. On folio 93b is a statement by Ali ibn Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him, describing Dirar ibn He said it to him when Muawiyah asked him to describe it to him. In folio 94a-96b there is a piece of the Sufi sayings about Al-Hallaj, and after it is the poem “Al-Sahr Al-Wardi”, the beginning of which is: “My blood was permissible when my heart made love for her permissible.
