A completely modern copy, neither Brockelmann nor Sezgin mentioned it, nor did they mention its author. The title page contains an introduction to the author, who was: “One of the companions of the judge, Abd al-Jabbar al-Hamdani, and some of our scholars thought that this Abu al-Qasim al-Basti was Abu al-Qasim, known as Ibn Tal Muhadhdhab, the jurisprudence of Imam al-Mu’ayyad, may God bless him, peace be upon him... and it is an illusion.” The text was written in black, green, and red ink within double tables in red. The copyist used green ink on the first two pages only, but for the rest of the copy, the copyist used ink. Black in the writing of the text and red in the writing of the chapters, their titles, paragraph headings, and a number of words, comments, and warnings in the footnotes, on a satin white European embossed paper in which parallel lines and the commercial watermark appear. The copy has two defects, the first of which is one leaf located between folios 9-10 and the second: two leaves located between folios 15-16. The copy was severely wet which led to the disappearance of parts of folios 10-15, so it needs urgent restoration. Maintenance and binding.
