Notes	A complete copy, starting with Surah Al-Kahf and ending with the last Surah Yasin, was written in black ink. The copyist left spaces in some places, perhaps to write the word (saying) in red ink, but he did not do so and those spaces remained unwritten. On the first page appears a waqf entry in the name of Hajj Tousun Ahmad Pasha, the governor of Jeddah and the sheikh of the Holy Mosque in Mecca. He was granted permission for his request for knowledge in the Holy Mosque in the year 1231 AH.
