A modern copy, with the other cut out, in a collection (60b - 69b) written by the author of the record, Muhammad bin Awad Al-Sharif Al-Damiyati, in dark tangy black ink. The red ink was used to write paragraph headings, sentence breaks, warning lines, and so on, on a European-made, rough, white, thick-grained paper in which parallel lines and the commercial watermark appear. The authorizations in this record are undated and not authenticated by the signature or seal of the authorizer, but the authorizer confirms the text here. The licenses are without a signature, and so he says, “They are preserved with me in their letters and sealed with their seals.” Note: The collection was in the library of Ahmed Khairy, may God have mercy on him, and he is the one who combined all of these licenses together in one volume. It appears that all of these licenses reached him from Sheikh Muhammad Zahid Al-Kawthari, may God have mercy on him.
