Ms. codex Title from inscription on 'title page' (p.5) and opening on pp.9-10 Collation: 8 V (80), VI (92), I (94) ; chiefly quinions ; pagination in pencil, Western numerals, supplied during digitization (includes inserts and skips two pages between pp.43 and 44) Layout: Written in 11 lines per page ; frame-ruled Script: Naskh ; elegant hand in a medium line ; virtually serifless with slight effect of tilt to the left, mainly open counters, curvilinear descenders ; freely ligatured and somewhat casually pointed (with many mistakes) ; partially vocalized Decoration: Keywords rubricated Support: European laid paper of at least two types ; opening type with 8 laid lines per cm (vertical), chain lines spaced 21-22 mm. apart (horizontal), three wishbones or stirrups [or inverted crescents?] and "A C" countermark (see p.6, 8, 52, 53, etc.) ; another type with 9 laid lines per cm (vertial), chain lines spaced 23 mm. apart (horizontal), and "G F A" with eagle and three stylized hats watermarks (see p.148, 152, etc.).
