Notes Musa Jarullah's work "Fiqh al-Quran" was published in 1915 in Petrograd. Judging by the contents, the title of the book should be translated as "Deep Understanding of the Qur'an." The book's material is divided into 81 paragraphs. The treatise is detailed comprehensive analysis and explanation of both the general meaning and meanings of individual words and concepts found in suras “al-Fatiha” and "al-Baqarah". The author devoted the first 48 to the analysis of Surah al-Fatiha paragraphs, the remaining paragraphs up to 81 are devoted to analysis and explanation of the first four verses of Surah al-Baqarah. Perhaps this work was intended by the author as the first part large-scale commentary of the Koran. The book is addressed to students of Muslim educational institutions. (Ph.D. Khairutdinov A.G.)
