Notes The book “Consolation of Hearts in the Loss of Children” is a theological and consolatory treatise written by the famous Damascus scholar Ibn Nasiruddin al-Dimashki. The main purpose of the work is to provide spiritual support and consolation to parents experiencing the greatest loss - the death of their children. Based on the Koran, the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (hadith), examples from the lives of righteous predecessors and Islamic tradition, the author strives to: Strengthen the faith of those who mourn. To remind of the great reward for patience (sabr) in the face of trials sent down by the Almighty. Explain the wisdom of divine predestination. Offer practical advice and spiritual guidance for coping with grief. The treatise is intended to help parents find solace in religion, find peace of mind and hope of meeting their departed children in the afterlife, according to Islamic beliefs.
