The book is a handwritten calligraphic copy of the famous text “al-Shatibiyya” - a classic poetic work on the science of the seven canonical readings of the Koran (qira'at). The author is Imam al-Shatibi al-Mukri, one of the greatest experts in the field of Quranic sciences.
