Abu Nasr ‘Abd al-Nasyir al-Kursavi (1776-1812). An outstanding theologian, sheikh of the Naqshbandiyya-Mujaddidiyya brotherhood, author of a number of works in Arabic and Tatar in the field of Islamic belief ('aqida), law (fiqh) and Koranic exegesis (tafsir). Most of his works survive only in manuscripts.
