Fakhruddin Hassan al-Uzgendi is an outstanding Central Asian Muslim scholar, jurist of the Hanafi school of Islamic law. The scientist comes from the city of Uzgend, which is located in the Osh region of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan.
Al-Fatawa al-Hindiya is a famous book on Hanafi law, containing approximately 24,234 fatwas from reputable scholars. The book was compiled with the help of 500 competent scholars under the guidance of Sheikh Nizamuddin al-Burhanfuri on the orders of the great Mughal ruler Muhammad Aurangzeb Alamgir (who lived in the 17th century). This book is a collection of legal opinions collected from more than 150 books on Hanafi fiqh. Most of the Sharia decisions were taken from very authoritative books of fiqh such as Al-Hidaiya, al-Kafi, al-Fatawa at-Tatarkhaniyya, Badai as-Sanai, etc.
This book was published by Maymania Publishing House, Egypt. It is not possible to establish the exact date, but it can be stated approximately that this is the 90s of the 19th century (1890 - 1899) |
