Notes This publication is a handwritten copy of a unique religious monument - “Doga-i Gaһed-namә һәm Doga-i Isem-i Әgzam budur” (دعاء عهد نامه هم دعاء اسم اعظم بودر). The book contains the text of the famous Muslim prayer “Ahd-name” (“Prayer of the Covenant”), as well as a prayer addressed to the Greatest Name of Allah. The manuscript begins with the traditional introduction "Bismillahir-Rahmaanir-Rahim" and includes appeals to Allah, evidence of monotheism, recognition of the prophetic mission of Muhammad Sallallahu 'Alayhi wa Sallam, as well as requests for protection, mercy and fidelity to the covenant on the Day of Judgment. The text is written in Arabic with elements of the Turkic written tradition. The book is of interest to researchers of Islamic manuscript culture, specialists in Tatar spiritual literature, as well as to anyone interested in the history and practice of Muslim prayers.
