The book “Al-Hikmat al-baliga” is one of the main sources from which we can draw information about the theological views of Sh. Marjani. Marjani's commentary can be roughly divided into seven chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the essence of things and ways of knowing it and, to some extent, is a philosophical introduction. The second chapter deals with purely theological problems (about the origin of the world, the attributes of Allah, His predestination, freedom of choice in the actions of people). The third chapter talks about the afterlife. The fourth chapter deals with the issue of human faith. In the fifth chapter, the author examines issues related to prophets and angels. The sixth chapter is devoted to the problem of the caliphate and imamate. Finally, the seventh chapter discusses some particular issues of doctrine and law. |
