Notes “Nizam at-taquim fi-l-Islam” (“The calendar system in Islam”) This book was printed in Egypt at the Matbaat at-tadamum al-ukhawiy printing house. It is a translation of the book “Lima i’tabara-sh-shar’u ar-ruya” (“Why Shariah takes into account the vision of the new moon”), published in Russia in 1908. The book was translated from Tatar into Arabic, the author translated it into Arabic in three parts, each part was published under a different title: 1. – “Ayyam hayat an-nabiy” (“Days of the life of the Prophet,” may Allah bless him and greet him); 2. – “Nizam at-taqvim fi-l-Islam” (“The calendar system in Islam”); 3. – “Nizamu-n-nasi’ inda-l-‘arabi kabla-l-islam” (“The system of transferring the forbidden months among the Arabs before Islam”). This is what the author himself says about the book: “This is a work in which the verses of the Noble Book were revealed regarding the system of calculating time and the calendar, which the author took from his book “Why does the Sharia take into account the vision of the month?”, published by him in 1326 AH.”
