Notes The work "Kirk sual" (forty questions) by the famous Turkish scientist and writer of the 16th century Furati is an outstanding work of Muslim theological literature. Despite its relatively small volume, it provides a lot of varied and interesting information from the lives of the prophets, ashabs and other followers of Muhammad, while being easy and understandable to read. Until 1851, the work “Kyrk syual” was in manuscripts in the Leitsip and Uzhal libraries, but printed editions in Constantinople in 1840 and 1848 were the property of very few people. In Russia it was published for the first time in 1889 in the city of Kazan by the Imperial University. The Russian translation was attached to the book by A. Arkhangelsky "Muhammadan Cosmogony". The author divides the work “Kyrk syual” into three parts: Introduction, which conveys the history of Jewish scholars asking questions to the Prophet Muhammad. The main part, which sets out the questions of the Jews themselves and the answers to them by the Prophet Muhammad. Conclusion, which tells about the acceptance of Islam by Jewish scholars.
