Notes The book "Paths to Islam" is a short mukhtasar (abbreviated) ilmihal - a desktop guide to the basics of Islamic practice. The publication, published in Kazan in 1990, is intended for a wide range of Tatar-speaking Muslims and serves as an accessible guide to getting acquainted with the rituals of worship (ibadat) of a Muslim.
