| Notes | The book is a poetic exposition of the foundations of the Hanafi school of Islamic law. Its author is the outstanding scientist and writer Muhammad ibn Hassan ibn Abi Yahya al-Kawakabi al-Halabi al-Hanafi, the mufti of the city of Aleppo (Aleppo), who lived in the 17th century (1018–1096 AH / 1609–1685). In this work, the author in verse retells and comments on the famous text on usul al-fiqh - “al-Manar” by Imam al-Nasafi (d. 711 AH / 1311), supplementing it with his own additions and explanations. This work serves as an important tool for students and scholars studying the methodology of Islamic law within the framework of the Hanafi school, facilitating the memorization and understanding of complex legal concepts through its poetic form of presentation. |
