| Sample Text | For various reasons, modern standard Arabic is becoming easier to read aloud as fewer strict rules are applied compared to the classical language, especially the inflection or irab is often omitted, thus establishing a closer connection with the spoken varieties of Arabic. It depends on the speaker's knowledge and attitude towards the grammar of classical Arabic, as well as on the region and audience to whom the speaker is addressing. The pronunciation of foreign names in modern Arabic can sometimes be inconsistent, names can be pronounced or even written differently in different regions and among different speakers. |
