| Sample Text | Among the Shia hadiths, sermons attributed to Ali are often found in the Four Books or Nahj al-Balagh. Shia Muslims do not use the six major hadith collections followed by Sunnis. Instead, their main hadith collections were compiled by three authors who are known as the three Muhammads. They are: Kitab al-kafi authored by Muhammad ibn Yakub al-Kalajni ar-Razi (329 A.H.). Man la jahduruhu al-fakih by Muhammad ibn Babuj and At-Tahdib and Al-Istibsar by Shaykh Muhammad Tusi. Unlike the Duodecimal Shiites of Ahbari, the Duodecimal Shiites of Usuli do not believe that everything found in the four main books is authentic. |
