| Sample Text | Pilgrims usually travel in groups, which is a sign of unity. Some airlines have special arrangements for Muslims going to Mecca such as the Hajj subsidy offered in India. Pilgrims also go to Mecca by boat to perform the pilgrimage. During the Hajj, male pilgrims should be dressed only in ihram, a garment consisting of two sheets of white untrimmed linen with the upper part gathered over the bust and the lower part secured by a white belt and a pair of sandals. Women are required to be normally modestly dressed, with neither hands nor face covered. |
