| Sample Text | Muhammad was confident that he could separate his own thoughts from those messages. According to the Qur'an, one of Muhammad's main roles was to warn the unbelievers of their eschatological punishment (Qur'an 38:70, Qur'an 6:19). Sometimes the Koran does not refer explicitly to the Day of Judgment but provides examples from the history of some particular communities and warns Muhammad's contemporaries of similar calamities (Koran 41:13-16). Muhammad not only warns those who reject God's revelation but also brings good news to those who reject evil, listen to the word of God and serve God. |
