| Sample Text | Among the various disciplines of hadith methodology and criticism, they ensured that nothing extraneous crept into the Prophet's Sunnah, which was transmitted through correct (`adl) and accurate (dabit) narrators known as trustworthy under the strict scrutiny of their peers and later experts. When ibn al-Mubarak was asked about forgeries, he replied: "The great scholars (al-jahabids) reject them!" Thus, the most succinct one kept repeating that the prophet's sunna and authentic hadith are part of the whole of the final revelation. Year of issue: 1249/1250. |
