| Sample Text | The term Shiism appears frequently in the hadiths and occurs four times in the Koran; for example in verse 37:83 Abraham is mentioned as a Shia (follower) of Noah. Ali's position is supported by a number of hadiths, including the hadith about Lake Hum, the hadith about the two heavy things, the hadith about the pen and paper, the hadith about calling close family members, and the hadith about the twelve heirs. In particular, the hadith and the cloak are often mentioned in order to show the feelings of both Sunni and Shiite scholars towards Ali and his family.
