| Sample Text | Deo Bandulem in India has mentioned several times that the Taliban government in Afghanistan is un-Islamic. It was revealed again recently at the convention in Karachi. The idea of forcefully establishing Sharia law in the name of jihad and levying taxes on Sikkim in Pakistan was mentioned there. This position was explained by Mevlana Abu Hasan Nadvi: "It cannot be called a war in the name of Islam. Even during a legitimate jihad, which is not waged by a villainous army of misguided youth but by the state against a certain aggressor, Islam has set certain principles such as that one cannot harm the old, the sick, women and children. One cannot attack any religious object. However, terrorists kill people without any distinction. They deserve Allah's punishment." Year of publication: 1517. |
