| Sample Text | In his life, Imam Ash-Shadi also made a sacrifice from political intrigues. For example, after studying under Imam Malik in Medina, he was sent to Yemen to some position where he was accused of political activity which resulted in his arrest. Harunuar-Rashidu was taken as a prisoner. The Caliph, however, established that he was innocent, so the imam was released with honors. Imam Ash-Shafi died in 204 AH / 820 AD. and was buried in Egypt. |
