It is the book Nahj al-Balagha (The Method of Rhetoric), with letters and speeched given by Ali, the Prophet`s son-in-law. This is particularly important for Shia fraction of Islam. In later period, sermons of distinguished preachers were also preserved in the written form. Learned scholars (ulama) used to be also appreciated orators, such as al-Jawzi, 12th century, the author of a famous book for preachers. Year of publishing: 1724/25. |
