Sample Text In his work Epistles of Establishment, Idži approximated the views of his predecessors on how the language was created. Everyone agreed that language is the result of the conscious determination - the establishment - of a set of spoken sounds (or expressions) and a set of thoughts (or meanings). It made no difference what one's position was about the origin of the language because both God and the community can have the function of establishing the language. It should be mentioned that sets of thoughts, at least logically, precede language, so language is not considered a prerequisite for thought. Language represents the totality of expressions together with the set of their meanings. Once the originator gives them meaning, it is something irrevocable. Year of publication: 1363.
