Muhammad (Arabic: Muammad c. April 26, 570 - June 8, 632; Monday, 12 Rabiulaval, 11 A.H.; also pronounced Muhammad), sometimes referred to as Muhammad ibn Abdullah, was the founder of the Islamic religion and Muslims consider him the messenger and prophet of God, the last lawgiver in the line of Islamic prophets, and most Muslims consider him the last prophet of God as taught by the Koran. Accordingly, Muslims consider him the restorer of the uncorrupted original monotheistic faith (Islam) of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and other prophets.
