| Sample Text | The converts to Islam came from almost all the Arab tribes in Medina, so that their number grew to seventy-five Muslims who came to Mecca for the pilgrimage and to meet Muhammad. By meeting him secretly during the night, the group contributed to the "Second Aqaba Oath" or "War Oath". After the Oath of Aqaba, Muhammad encouraged his followers to emigrate to Yathrib. After moving to Abyssinia, the Quraysh tribe tried to stop the emigration. However, almost all Muslims managed to leave. Year of publication: 1701. |
