| Sample Text | Ibn Taymiyyah explains that a hadith, even if it is not judged to be authentic, if it encourages acts that are considered good in Islamic Shariah, some virtue, commendable action or idea, can be completely acceptable so that people turn to it as a hadith that encourages such an act. Here, Ibn Taymiyyah also refers to ijma, consensus, which is a pure reference to the concept of ijma of the scholars of Islam as a fully accepted concept and a concept that is acceptable.
