| Sample Text | In general, foreign geographic and personal names do not have case suffixes. You can use sounds that are not in classical Arabic, but exist in spoken varieties, the consonants /v/, /p/, [c], these consonants can be written with special letters, but the vowels [o], [e] (both long and short) do not have to. In Arabic, there are no special letters to distinguish the pairs [e~i] and [o~u], but the sounds o and e (long and short) exist in colloquial varieties of Arabic and in some foreign words in modern Arabic. |
