| Sample Text | Ibn Taymiyyah says the following: "And it is not possible to allow something just like that without a Shariah proof, but if it is known that something is forbidden, and a hadith is narrated as a sign of warning to the one who did so, and it is not known whether it is a lie, it is permissible to narrate it. It is permissible to narrate it in terms of encouragement or deterrence, which is known as a lie.
