Sample Text The Fatiha (Opener) is the first chapter of the Quran. It is highly respected by Muslims and is widely used as the "Lord's Prayer" by Christians. It is said over the sick as a means of healing, as mediation for dying souls and is always said during daily prayers. It should be read aloud or spoken aloud: "Glory be to God, Lord of all the worlds! Sensitive, Merciful! King of the Day of Judgment! We worship you and we implore you for help! Lead us to the right path! The path of those you are merciful to! Not those you are angry with nor those who are astray" Year of publication: 1466.
