| Sample Text | From the second century A.H. originates the voluminous, partially restored Musanaf of the Yemeni expert on hadith Abdar-Razakaibn Hamam ibn Nafi as-Sanani (died 211), which contains the handbook of his teacher Mamar ibn Arshid al-Azdi (died 151 or 154 A.H.), both of which are the main sources of Bukhari and Muslim in their Sahihs, and with twenty-one thousand stories, it represents the largest reliable early source of hadith.
