A complete Qur’an, the beginning of which is decorated in gold, its frame is in red ink, the text is written in black ink, the verse dividers are a solid red circle, and the names of the surahs are in red ink within a red frame. It has appendices in the footnote for what the copyist overlooked, it has sections with red in the footnote, it has been affected by moisture and is torn and must be repaired.

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful... Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds... - Surah An-Nas is Meccan, and it is six verses that are clear from Mecca... from heaven and people... God Almighty has spoken the truth, praise be to God who has enabled me to write His ancient words..., and the completion of editing this noble Qur’an was in the blessed month of Rajab on Sunday, except the 25th of the months of the year 1267, two hundred and one thousand sixty-seven, at the hands of the poor Sheikh Salim Al-Hamawi in the Damascus Mosque, and prayers be upon The Messenger of God and peace be upon our master Muhammad and his family and companions.. (The supplication for concluding the Qur’an).
