The text is written in black ink, the diacritical marks are in red, the hamzat al-qat’ is in yellow, the hamzat al-wasl is in green, and the names of the surahs are in red ink within a red frame, with red inscriptions in the footnote.

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful... Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds... - Surah An-Nas is a Medinan verse... from heaven and people... The blessed Qur’an was completed with the praise of God and His good help and success at the hands of its poor writer... Muhammad bin Hussein bin Al-Hajj Boubakar, may God forgive him, his parents, and his sheikhs... It was completed on Thursday the 18th in the month of Hajj al-Rahham in the year 1317.
