The second quarter of the Noble Qur’an, narrated by Warsh on the authority of Nafi’, begins at the beginning of Surat Al-A’raf, and ends with verse No. 74 of Surat Al-Kahf. Its beginning and end have gilding and ornamentation, and its frame is gilded. The text is written in black ink, the fatha, kasra, and dhammah in red, the hamzat al-wasl in green, the hamzat al-qat’ in yellow, the sukun in blue, the shaddah in azure, and the names of the surahs in gold ink, on it. Doctrinal division and division in the footnote. Gilded and decorated circles were placed in the footnote at the head of each surah, part, and prostration, with minor appendices in the footnote for what the copyist overlooked.
