Notes
A complete Qur’an, the beginning of which is gilded and decorated, with a gilded frame. The text is written in black ink, with pause and madd marks in red, and the verse dividers are a solid gilded circle, and the names of the surahs are in red ink within a gilded and decorated frame. Gilded and decorated flowers were placed in the margins to indicate the parts and prostrations. It was affected by slight, ineffective moisture. (The copyist has a weakness in following the Uthmani script, so the positions of the deleted alifs change).
Sample Text
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful... Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds... - Surah An-Nas is a Madinan verse... from heaven and people... (the supplication to conclude the Qur’an). Praise be to God who has enabled us to complete His ancient words...., and I am the despicable one in need of the mercy of his noble Lord. Ahmed Hamdi, son of Hajj Ali al-Borduri, known as Taqirdiqzadeh, one of the students of Hajj Othman, known as Qaishzadeh. May God forgive them and their parents, Amen. The gap has occurred. It was edited in the year one thousand three hundred and twenty-five... I have read this noble Qur’an in the purified Medina for the pleasure of God Almighty...
