A complete Qur’an, the beginning and the end of which are gilded and decorated, with a gilded frame. The text is written in black ink, and the pause and madd marks are in red. The verse breaks are a gilded ornate circle. The pages end with the end of the verses, and the names of the surahs are in white ink inside an ornate golden frame. Gilded and decorated flowers were placed in the margins to indicate the parts and prostrations.

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful... Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds.... - Surah An-Nas, which is six verses... from Heaven and people... Praise be to Him who facilitated for me the completion of His Noble Book and the Wise Remembrance, and after: It was written by the poor servant Muhammad al-Hamdi, who is one of the students of Mr. Hajji Ahmad al-Hilmi. May God forgive their sins and cover their faults and those who looked into it, in the year two hundred and one thousand seventy.
