The text is written in black ink, the pause and madd marks are in red, the verses are separated by three red separators, and the names of the surahs are in red ink. It has appendices in the footnote for what the copyist overlooked, and it has red inscriptions in the footnote.

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful... Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds... - Surat An-Nas... which are clear verses... from heaven and people... God Almighty has spoken the truth and conveyed the message to His Noble Messenger... This Noble Qur’an was compiled by the poorest of servants... Shaarawi al-Faqi, may God forgive him.... This Qur’an was compiled on the blessed Thursday, twenty-two days past the month of Jumada al-Akhir in the year one thousand two hundred and seventy-six before the Prophet’s Hijra. May the best and most pure blessings be upon its owner. Greetings, God knows best.
