But Imam Ahmad ordered that the ablution water be kept, and he disliked it being poured on the road, and he said, “It is disliked for it to be trampled on.” He said that Ibn Abbas hated him. He said, “If you pour it and some of it spills on you, it is strange to me that you should wash it, even though he said that it is pure.” Al-Marwazi narrated all of that from him...
