I wrote the words “Hadathna” and “Chapter” in red, and the rest of the text in black. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

The book of sacrifices and hunting. And naming on hunting. And the Almighty’s saying {O you who have believed, God will certainly test you with something of hunting} until His saying {a painful punishment}... Abu Nu’aym told us... on the authority of Adi bin Hatim, may God be pleased with him, who said I asked the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, about hunting on land... ... Chapter on the words of God Almighty {And We set the scales justly}... The Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said two words beloved to the Most Merciful, light on the tongue, heavy in the scale, Glory be to God and glory be to them in their scales. God Almighty. The text of Sahih Al-Bukhari has ended...
