Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds.. As for what follows... Abd al-Ghani al-Ghunaimi al-Maidani says: This is a letter in which I mention what al-Bukhari mentioned in his Sahih from the branches.. and I called it revealing the confusion about what Imam al-Bukhari reported to some people... ... al-Bukhari never narrated on the authority of al-Shafi’i, with evidence that it was not narrated on the authority of al-Shafi’i in his Sahih, and if he had acknowledged it, he would have narrated on his authority just as he narrated on the authority of Malik and Imam Ahmad, etc.... He said, “Dam.”
