Notes	A complete copy in two parts, the first part of which ends in folio 251a. \| The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.
Sample Text	Chapter: How did the revelation to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, begin, and his Almighty saying, “Indeed, We revealed to you just as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him.” Al-Humaydi narrated... He said, I heard Omar ibn Al-Khattab on the pulpit, saying, “I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, that deeds are but by intentions, but to every man is what he intended... ...Chapter on the saying of God Almighty, and we set the scales with justice for the Day of Resurrection... Mujahid Al-Qastas said: Justice is in the Roman language, and it is said that justice is the source of justice... Chapter He is just, but as for the just, he is unjust... The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said two words that are beloved to the Most Merciful and light on the tongue... Glory be to God and with praise, Glory be to God the Great.
