In the name of God... Imam Al-Bukhari said... The Book of Punishments: The plural of a punishment which is a barrier between two things that prevents one from affecting the other. The punishment of fornication and alcohol is so named because it prevents the one who uses it from repeating the same thing, preventing others from adopting the same path... Do not be among those who rejoice in errors and correct what they find to be corrupt, for God Almighty has condemned a group about whom He said: “They spread corruption on earth and do not reform.” The blessed explanation has been completed.
